I bring more than 11 years of experience as a supervisor in both the domestic and commercial construction sectors, following 15 years of hands-on experience constructing homes. Throughout my career, I have worked with numerous builders, including some of Australia’s largest volume builders.

From first-hand experience, I can confidently say that supervisors rarely have enough time in their day to thoroughly assess every trade and job for quality and compliance. In recent years, I have also observed a growing number of private building inspectors producing reports that lack depth and technical understanding—often written by individuals with minimal or no practical construction experience. These reports frequently include vague recommendations such as “seek professional advice,” despite the expectation that the inspector themselves should be the qualified professional providing that advice.

My experience has also shown that a builder’s top priority is often profit, not quality.

With these realities in mind, I have made it my mission to provide clients with a building inspection service they can trust—one that is grounded in real industry experience, technical knowledge, and a commitment to genuine professional advice.
